Happy birthday to the one and only Kim K! In honor of this Kardashian's birthday, we will be showing you how to recreate 5 of her hair looks. Now Kim's style has definitely evolved over the years, but so has her hair evolution. Do you remember Kim's look from the earlier 2000's?
However now she is a lot more daring with her style and hair and has opted for very sleek and bold looks. Between red carpets, paparazzi shots and her show Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim has provided us with some major style inspo. So if you want to learn how to recreate some of her signature looks at home, just keep on reading.
We absolutely adore Kim's straight platinum blonde hair! What's even better is that this sleek look is definitely achievable at home. After washing your hair, you should use some sort of smoothing treatment. To start off, you'll need to comb your hair back into a high ponytail. In order to tame baby hairs, you can even spray some hairspray around your roots. The next step would be to loosely curl the ends of your ponytail and then add a texture spray to give it even more movement. Lastly you'll want to tease the ends of the hair and grab a section from underneath the ponytail to wrap around the base to cover the elastic. Some people don't like teasing their hair, so you can skip this step if you prefer. That being said, to get Kim's perfectly tousled look, teasing will really help!
Kim looks so effortlessly beautiful in these super relaxed beach inspired waves. This is the perfect every day look for school or the office. Not only is it quick, but it will look like you put more effort than you actually did.
You're going to want to begin with damp hair, so either after taking a shower or putting some water in spray bottle to lightly spray your hair. Once the hair is damp, you can apply some curl enhancing mousse to really bring out some of your natural texture. After blow drying your hair, you're then going to lightly curl your hair using a large barrel curler. This super polished hairstyle is the epitome of elegance and high fashion. It might be simple, but it makes any outfit appear 10 times more put together. To get this look you'll need to start by parting your hair down the middle in a very straight line. Using the end of a long tail comb will really help you achieve that symmetrical look.
Then using a high shine hairspray, you'll need to smooth over the the top of your head. Depending on your hair texture, you might need to straighten it as well. Lastly as an additional step, use an argan oil on the ends to really get that shiny and healthy hair look.
The final look we'll be recreating is Kim K's wet waves style. This hairstyle can be a bit tricky because your hair could either look AMAZING, or very greasy and dirty. You definitely don't want to look like you could fry an egg on your head or skipped out on yesterday's shower.
